How It Works

NON-INTRUSIVE BUT DIRECT AND HELPFUL.

We pride ourselves in knowing when and how to break the ice, to be easy in conversation and guide/direct when need be. We know there are vastly different personalities and sometimes, even family dynamics. We’re able to read the room right away and blend right in to capture everything in a seamless way. There’s an art with stepping in to speak up and direct what needs to be done for photos. There’s also a time when we need sit back and let things happen organically to capture a candid and real moment.

Pricing + Packages

Let’s Talk About Budgets:

There are different seasons in the wedding industry. The standard is that Saturday dates are the most popular during May-October months. These dates during this window of time is the majority of how us vendors/artists make our money to pay the bills and live our life. That’s why there’s usually a premium price during this time. However, we always like to keep the door open to talk about your budget. If we vibe and the synergy is aligned – we are willing to chat and see what we can do to work together. Pricing starts at $5,000 for photo and $8,000 for both photo+video combined. Listing these prices are to give you a real sense of our range and not leave you in the dark about it. We hate that “mysterious pricing/inquire to learn more” sales approach. So we just wanted to tell you straight up of our pricing. Like we said, we’re open to discussing your budget if you’re super cool, nice to us and give us Tequila.

One of our brand values to our clients is that we are a no bullshit approach in our business. It’s a healthy mix of professional and personable. After all, a wedding is a personal celebration and we feel it’s important that you hire people who you connect with and trust. It’s a lot of money you’re spending and the last thing we want, is for you to feel that your money is not appreciated or it being wasted on a bad experience. We give a shit about our couples and we also keep open, honest an real conversations with them. When it comes to lighting, weather, timeline or advice – we tell you the truth for the best outcome of your photos. We are solution-oriented but we are not magicians. We will always keep it real, do our best to provide incredible photos and give you an honest and fun experience.

We are allies of the LGBTQ+ community and we proudly shoot all people regardless of size, shape, color, gender or sexuality. We do, however, proudly turn away from working with homophobes, sexists, racists and/or others who show any form of bigotry.

LUXURY, BUT NOT STUFFY

We like nice things but we also like nice people.

We are into the finer things in life. 5 star hotels, Gucci loafers and first class flights. But you will also see us rockin’ some cute stuff from Target and eat $1 slice of pizza. This represents us as people and our business. We will be easy to get ahold of, communicate with you during the planning process and uphold a level of luxury to anticipate yours needs. However, we are real people with a real approach (hence, the cussing sprinkled on the website). The couples who hire us enjoy the finer things in life but also are the nicest people on the planet who are wanting to 1) look good 2) love hard 3) live it up on their wedding day.

FAQ

the real reallllll questions.

Do we get *all *photos?

Absolutely! The only photos we do not deliver is mid-blinking, blurry or unflattering photos that we know you won’t have any desire to print/have. Our average delivery is 600-1,000 photos. But we do not put a cap on how many. Sometimes we deliver over 1,000 photos! It just depends on how long we are hired for and how much goes on come wedding day. We do not send you any RAW (un-edited) photos – you are hiring us for our editing style and trust that we send all the right photos.

What’s the Video info?

We deliver a 4-6 Minute Highlight Reel. You will also receive the RAW footage of it’s entirety: ceremony, speeches, first dances + cake cutting (this RAW footage reel is about 1 hour long). As much we wish we could deliver video as fast as photo, it’s not possible. Video is actually 10x more time-consuming in the editing process. We have to watch all the footage, edit out the bloopers, sync audio, put clips together to tell the story properly, find the right music, etc. We deliver video within 12-14 weeks.

When will we get our photos?

We are super proud of this because we deliver photos prettyyyyy fast! Industry standard is 6-8 weeks. The Hons? 2-4 weeks. (SAY WHATT!) It’s not that we rush the editing or anything – we just have our groove down and we do not procrastinate on the process getting the photos edited for you. We live in a time where we get everything so quickly (hello, Uber-eats) and our generation is not used to waiting long. So we’ve stepped it up to keep up with the new wave. Efficiency at it’s finest. 

Is it okay that I suggest what photos I want?

Yes but with a boundary. Hear us out on this: we understand there’s important people that you want photos of and that dream photo you are imagining to have. We get it (Brittani is the same way). We just don’t want to be micro-managed all day what to photograph. It ruins our creative flow. We want you to give us 95% trust and 5% of direction of what and who you want photographed (example: family formals and a handful of 5 must-have photos). Sound good?

I love that you cuss, but my family might not vibe with that….

We understand. Our families gave us a tough time when they saw our website. “OMG Brittani.. Jon..! *gasps* that isn’t professional!”. So we are here to tell you that we don’t cuss come wedding day. We keep it PG-13 around all family members and friends. We just wanted you, the couple, to get a real vibe for who we are. Plus, times have changed. People our age (Millennials + GenZ) want a personable brand.

How do we book? what if we are covid19 affected?

We send you the contract and the package you decide to book through our invoicing system. It’s a $1,000 retainer for photo packages or it’s $2,000 retainer for photo+video packages. The balance is due 30 days before the wedding. Easy Peasy. (COVID19 – retainers are refundable if we are NOT available your new date. We can explain more when we chat!).

Do we meet  before booking?

No, we totally do meetings in a social distancing kind of way now — virtually. Kidding. But in all seriousness “meeting before booking” is old school. We have a kid and setting up a babysitter for meetings, engagement sessions AND weddings can be a bit over the top. All of the couples who book us do so right over email or have a phone call with us. We will meet at the engagement session (or just wedding day). We are pros at breaking the ice and connecting with you come day of.

How many weddings have you photographed?

750+ weddings and counting. (cue the jaw drop). We usually do 75-120 wedding a year. However, since 2018 we have become serial entrepreneurs. We have multiple businesses and had to put a cap on how much we can realistically do  each year. We now photograph about 20-25 weddings a year. We love being wedding photographers and will always do them until our lower backs tell us not too when we get too old.
